Crestline Living Logo

The logo for Crestline Living is currently under construction. Michelle Snow, our crestline living logoweb designer, contributor and media maven, is developing the logo.

The design I have in mind is from the image of a pine tree, set inside an arrowhead, set inside a mountain. The image will be triangular to echo all three shapes. Each is iconic to our area: the towering pines, the stunning geologic arrowhead feature in Waterman Canyon, and the mountains that makes the area so unspoiled and lovely.

Here is the concept I doodled on scrap paper. I am hoping the real thing will be a mite more elegant. :-)

Update 7/16/08 - I woke up thinking about the colors I want in the logo - the tree will be sage, the arrowhead will be Bliss Blue ( a Behr paint color - like a sky blue) and the mountain will be chocolate brown. The tag should actually say CrestlineLiving.com. I don’t have an idea of the font or color for that - either the blue or the sage - whatever looks better.

I also want the mountain top to look more like our mountaicrestline living logo version 1n contour in Crestline - slightly higher on the right to symbolize Strawberry Peak, and a bit of a lower peak for the drop-off to the highways to the right.

Update 10/02/08 - Here is the first version of the Crestline Living Logo:

I would love comments on this ongoing logo design if anyone has them!
