Thinking about moving to Crestline? Or maybe you just want to see what some of your neighbors have been doing with their place. Either way, you may be interested in the upcoming Treasures in the Trees Home Tour, a tour of area homes. The annual tour, which began in 2002, is organized and run by the Crestline Community Development Alliance (CCDA). The purpose of the Treasures in the Trees tour is, according to the CCDA website, to “showcase the beauty of Crestline and exhibit the diversity of its neighborhoods and our heritage.”

This year’s tour is scheduled for October 4th from 10am to 2:30pm, and tickets are $20 in advance or $25 day of. The tour will begin and end at the San Moritz Lodge, where six shuttle vans will take guests to and from the beautiful homes. Maps will also be provided for those who would like to drive themselves on the tour.

The afternoon will conclude with a wine reception at the lodge, which is located at 24640 San Moritz Dr here in Crestline. The CCDA says net proceeds from the event will go towards projects such as the banners for the Old Town and Lake Drive business districts. For more information on the event, you can call 909.338.1656 or visit the CCDA website.

Is this tour something that is done annually? It sounds like a really great time for anyone interested in homes out there. I’ve read a lot in your site and it seems like Crestline is one of the coziest towns to live in. Where I am, we have a lot of stucco tract homes. I wish builders out here would add a bit of character to our city like yours has.
