Governator Visits the Mountains

This picture on the Crestline Chamber of Commerce website shows our own state governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger himself, holding up at sign at Lake Arrowhead. He’s announcing to the world that we, the San Bernardino mountain towns, are indeed open for business after our devastating fires.
You have to scroll down to see the picture of the Governator. He’s basically saying…”We’ll be back.”
Sorry about that. Couldn’t resist.
In any case, it’s still nice to see the support.

I saw that smirk on his face. I sent an email to state controller John Chiang thanking him for suppport of state workers plus he got us direct deposit.
So is that how you are referred to - San Bernardino mountain towns? Never heard that before.

Yeah he’s got that famous smirk down pat.
Re - SB Mountain Towns: I don’t know what we are called collectively. I may have made phrase up - but it works for me.
I noticed that on the 10 freeway the signs leading to our area say, “MOUNTAIN RESORTS.”
Most people have heard at least of Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead. I think. Do you agree?
