Library Yoga Update

Yesterday I took my Crestline library yoga class. The main instructor Michelle was on vacation so we had Jenny, our backup instructor, teach. She had very nice transitions and there were more standing poses like warrior and triangle. I enjoyed Jenny’s different yoga teaching style.

This time there were seven students, of various yoga levels and abilities. There seem to be anything from four to nine students in any given week’s class. We have up to three fans blowing on us in the library now that it’s so hot out. :)

I like how these classes are really for everyone - any age, any yoga stage. I really appreciate that it’s not an Ashtanga workout - there are too many of those in gyms across the country. This is just simple pose work and relaxation.

We might be getting Jenny to do additional library yoga classes on Mondays now, which would be great - we’d have Michelle on Thursdays and Jenny on Mondays - same time, at 11AM until noon. This is still up in the air, however. I might know more next week.

We also talked about having a class outside at some point soon - probably on the shores of Lake Gregory by the ball field/dog park. I would love to see a large attendance at that one. If it’s sure thing I will report on it here. :)

    Yes!

Well, almost free. They have a donation box or you can bring in books or magazines to donate to the library in appreciation. I try to always bring something to donate. :)
